Went to the Historical city of Malaysia, Melaka on Saturday with my church youths. My dear came along with me. >< class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_1">coz there is nothing in there. It is just some science exhibition more than an alien exhibition, coz we only saw 2 aliens in it. The rest are all science (planets, plants, etc.).
After that, we went to Jonker Street to eat their all time famous Malacca sugar cendol. It was then that we received some bad news from one of our frens. It seems that he need to go back to KL early, and he drove 3 of us here. Hence 3 of us need to go back with him because he had a function later on at nite. Our initial plan was to have a good dinner at the Portuguese settlement in Malacca, which was the only reason why i tagged along this trip. If you had followed our blog, just 2 months ago we went to Melaka with our college frens too, and went to the exact places.
In the end, it was me, my sister and my dear who followed that guy back. Why us??

spot some questions that she would probably asked...
asked the group earlier what questions she asked...
Get ready...Prepare....Go!
When we were inside,
we got all sorts of questions...
haha...
Can you imagine she ask us details like...
- how much blood does a normal human being has?
- how long does he have to bleed to dry?
- what bag does he use to carry the bodies?
- how does he takes the blood?
- how he was CAUGHT? (this one is cool..we didn't think of it...)
the thing is...
she said " if you are able to put in answers on questions that people will think of, then you will be a great forensic psychology student"
haha...if i were able to think of everything, i guess i will be genius...
but i'm happy with my assesment...
she thought i was reading my notes...
when i show her,
it's just the cover page of the assignment...
haha...
today, it's two people birthday....
"Happy Birthday Yee Ling and Sorry i don't know your name!"
Hope you all have a blissful one...everything is going fine...
except for something that i can't explain it here...
huhu...
Till here

Hmm... Not a good day today. I kinda forgot that my Health Psych meeting was on 10am instead of 2pm! Then, had meeting wif Miss Winnee at 11.30am. What a rush!
Anyways, life has not been harder...
...alright. There were times where life was even harder, but still now is... yea.
Some of the facts of life that i went through today:
- People forcing you to take their experiment when you don't really feel like doing it. And prior to that you need to sign an "informed consent form" for them stating that you voluntarily join in their experiment
- Cognitive dissonance (go search the psych book for the meaning and examples)
- People pushing into the bus as if they are the one that wants to get home fast and you are just blocking their way
- No matter what you do, you are always on the wrong side (this is not good)
Just when you thought all those were bad enough, look at this:

Tired now. Mentally tired, not physically.
Till then...
- Industrial Organizational Psych meeting tomolo - not done
- Mind Games meeting tomolo - half done
- Health Psych meeting tomolo - not done
- Thesis meeting on Wednesday - half done
- Forensic Psych serial killer homework - 1/4 done
There seems to be never-ending things to be completed once this semester began, but i am so not motivated to do those stuffs. Mainly because some of the people from each of those meetings that i have are so not ... well, i would say they are so not productive. I'm just out of ideas on how to motivate and encourage them to work as a team.
So far, Forensic Psych has given me the best interest during classes. Perhaps it's because of the lecturer, perhaps the subject. It's the one and only interesting subject that i am taking this semester lol. The other 2 subjects are Health Psych (are you kidding???) and Industrial Organizational Psych (???).
Anyways, will need to continue doing my homework as for now...

Things have been busy and up and down and side-ways for me. Anyways, i will start off with some sort of a "summary" of the past weekend and then you can read on from there.
Basically, my dear followed my family up to Genting. Yea, the one on top of the hill.
Spent some time there chilling out, arcade-ing, basically jux for a break from KL.We managed to snap a few pictures though. Went to an interesting place and i told my dear to make a pose for me to snap the picture under some falling books, and this was how she posed...
And then it was my turn...
See the difference? I think she needs more spontaneous kinda pose...
We then went to the arcade and jammed on some of the machines there whcih gave us a whole bunch of tickets to be redeemed for a bear for my dear...
Moving on, we dropped by in 1-Utama before heading home, and when my 13 year old cousin bought a drink and we asked him what drink did he buy, he replied "Anything".
... and this was what he was holding.
Soon after that, he went back to the same shop and got himself a can of "whatever"
Lol.
We stayed in Genting one nite, and then back to KL. Time flies when we are enjoying ourselves. Back in town, we then went dinner at my aunt's new restaurant in The Curve. Food was excelent.
After that, was another quite boring week in KL. Looking forward to the trip to Melaka the following weekend. Hope that nothing goes wrong.
Anna, here we come to visit you. All our food there is on you, like you promoised. Hahahahahahaha
I stopped playing the guitar for the Sunday mass this week, simply because i couldn't stand the conductor! He's just too much. If you all would still remember, i complained about him in a few post prior to this, and now that's it! I've had enough.
Life goes on...
Something has been bothering me... Couldn't sleep well last nite. Like i've said, what's the point of having promises if you can't keep them?
Till then...
Days has been passing by in a slow and yet sometimes fast pace. How do you define fast? Not slow?
Anyways, as my days have been busy and not so busy, i'm actually in the midst of launching a new psych club in my college. Many things has to be done, from typing the report to making a budget to listing down a year plan to etc etc etc. Most of the committee members are not really helping anyway, since they have part time jobs and internship now.
This weekend is Magic nationals. Held in Cititel MidValley. Would like to go and have a look, although i failed to qualify for it. Will work harder next year. Haha.
Genting trip is next Monday. Looking forward to it.
Thinking....
Promise are meant to be broken? Then what's the point of making one? I just don't understand...
Till then...
The whole day...
yeah...
i watched Hancock....
Finally...
i know i'm abit out...
but at least i watched it in the Cinema...
haha....
After movie...
we had Pizza for breakfast + lunch...
yum yummy...
Then we went and do business...
hehe...
I just realised that KL sentral got Post Laju and Post Office...
hehe...
We went Post Laju...
post the Piggie to a girl in Johor....
Hope you like it...
you friend so good...
post all the way there for you...
hehe...

The wrapping different d...
made a new one this morning...
hehe...
and Pos Laju is cheap...
hope the thing won't went missing on the way there......
hehe...
After that, we went post laju to sent this stuff to a girl in Kota Kinabalu..
Yes...it's Sabah....
think she will get it in 2 days time...
hope she will stick her camera till blink blink...
nice nice...

Then, waited at Mcd for a guy..
technical problem...
so took him 30minutes longer to arrive...
hehe...

Still waiting for dear to come back...
he went Shagon...
is it spell like that?
the Japanese buffet thingy...
so nice...
i also want to go...
huhu...
Till here...
Anyway, for those who will feel offended of what i am about to day, kindly ignore this post and read somewhere else. I apologise for this.
But this is enough! Just because you want to do unfair share with us and we disagree with you doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want.
Conducting a business with 3 people and you yourself demanding a 50% share among the 3 is not anywhere near FAIRNESS!
And just because you have money it doesn't mean that you are the KING!
Freedom and true happiness is what you don't have.
GO get a life!
You know who i am talking about. If you are reading this, you'll noe that it is you!
Enough said.
Till then...

hehe..
the differences between individualistic culture and collectivistic culture...
yes...
cultural differences...
that made up our standard differences...
and difficulties differences...
and lead on to teaching style differences...
learning style differences...
interpreting differences...
listening differences....
visual differences....
exam differences...
and a whole lot more differences...
that contributed to our difficulties...
why must there be so many differences?
can't life be more similar...
but if similar then very weird...
everyone will be wearing the same attire...
same appearance...
same attitude...
same personality...
then will be like clone...
yer...don't want....
stick to this for awhile more...
nightmare is going to over soon...
hehe....
Till here....
********************************************************************************
For those who don't understand the previous sentence, it's either:
- You did not read our previous post, which is sad to hear...
- There are CULTURAL DIFFERENCES between us !
Am in my midst of finishing the 6 possible exam questions, which is such a waste of time. I mean, i rather he spend the whole semester teaching us something and not telling us what might be coming out, instead of just throwing 6 essay (yes ESSAY) questions to us, which some he didn't even thought us in class, and then telling us that he has done his best and are at the lowest point for giving us a pass already. Such nonsense.
Anyway, there might not be much time for blogging long now... Alot more to do. Haha.
Till here...
to earn a living for their family back home....
they arrived here...
given hostel to live in...
a place to work......
maids, factories worker, assistant in all areas, labour workers, etc....
worked all day long....
all night long.....
some were treated badly...
some were treated nicely....
tired but no complain....
with the little pay they had....
they smile and continue working...
as they know...
this is the only time they can help their family....
with the money they earned with effort,
they win many people hearts...
especially their family...
spouse and children....
with the little money...
they can buy house, land, cars and all sorts of things back home....
they will continue to smile and work....
why will i talk about foreign worker today?
my dad is a lorry driver...
where he will have a follower to assist him in his work.....
every few years this follower will be replaced with a new follower as their permits expired....
when i was younger, there's this follower....a big brother.....
named Nano....
i know it sound funny.....same with the sweet we used to eat last time...
i used to laugh at him...
but i miss him so much....
my dad used to sent me home with his lorry..
they wait for me outside school...
so this big brother will carry my bag...
take umbrella for me when it rains....
carry heavy stuffs....
and so on....
he is really kind....
really nice....
that made me remember him for all this years....
he tried to fake his passport and come for another four to five years.....
after that, he was unable to come anymore....
didn't see him from that time on....
wonder how is him now?
today....
my dad call me....asked me to get ready.....go and eat KFC...
weird...my dad usually won't ask me to go out eat if i'm at home....he will "tapao" for me...
curious...i just followed his instruction and follow him...
usually the follower will stay in the lorry and eat their home made food...
but this time no...
he followed us into KFC....
then, my dad say that he wants to treat us as he won some money from 4d(some lottery thingy)
we orded 2dinner plates and 1 snack plate....
we ate...
he didn't want the pepsi because it's cold....(later in the lorry he say he only drinks plain water... :) so healthy...or rather...save money....)
he gave his water to my dad.....his coleslaw...
and my dad gave him bread...
pour the sauces for him...
he didn't try it before....
chili, thai chili and tomato sauce...
he wanted "asam"....hehe....
my dad and him like good friends...
although they had language barrier...
where my dad BM is not that good...
the worker only can speak BM.....
they communicate well....
with BM and also sign language...haha...
after lunch, he asked my dad....
Dad : huh? apa itu?
Foreign Worker : (repeat everything again...)
Dad : Ngor mm che hei kong mat yeh...(cantonese..."i don't know what is he talking about")
Me : apa itu?
Foreign Worker : (repeat again...this time slower....)
Me : aeroplane a?
Foreign Worker :a....Aeroplane....itu bawa saya atas bawa sini punya......itu remote punya berapa?
Me : oo....helicopter a.....(cause there is no aeroplane shape thingy that can fly right?usually is helicopter......for remote...)
Dad : awak mahu itu a? untuk apa?
Foreign worker : saya mahu bawa balik rumah....
Dad : itu mahal o....Rm100 +.......
Foreign Worker : Rm30 -Rm40 tak ada?
Dad : ada....tak boleh jauh punya.....
I felt so bad....if he haven't spent dad and i...he would have enough money to buy the helicopter home...he was really thoughtful that he want to spent us before he left for home.......i was thinking of asking dad to buy him one if he really going home soon.....hehe.....
heard another incident from my mummy the other day....the same foreign worker.....went my grandmother house the other day...he ate his lunch as usual....outside my grandmother house...
then my grandmother ask him to come in...outside hot and stuff...then my grandmother gave him some water and some food too...then ask him lots of things.....after that, the worker and my dad head off to the factory...and the worker cried....until very serious...my dad thought something bad had happened...asked him...then he say he miss his mother back home....my grandmother reminds him of his mother....he said every mother also so bossy...but they were caring.....they want us to be the best of ourselves.....when i heard this story...i was touched too...
i do agree they were quite irritating at times...but all they want....is that we are fine and healthy....thanks alot mummy for taking care of me....
In conclusion, do not treat those foreign worker so bad...some which i have seen...really treat them like slaves....they are human too...they have feelings...although they were paid to do so.....they were paid a certain amount...and make sure that they work load is appropriate to their pay....they were here....far away from their home.....we should show them our love and care too....where here it is a home too....
:)
TIll then...
***********************************************************************************
Anyway, all i wanted to say that i am very very pissed off right now.
I went to college today, for only 1 purpose.
Which is to collect the RM15 which a guy has owed me since last Monday, and he kept saying pay you tomolo pay you tomolo etc.
And it drags on till now.
And worst still, it's because i sold him something.
And he doesn't want to pay me.
So i told him i wanna retract the deal. And he said it's already a deal.
I fired him back saying that DEAL means Cash on Delivery. You havn't even pay me yet !!!
What is wrong with him??????
By the way, i barely know him. Only met him once or twice in college. Sold him the stuffs through forum.
Lesson from this:
Please get the amount fixed on that day of exchange itself. Dun let it drag, although he is your friend and you think you know him very well!
Enough said.
