... on how you guys want to present your slides.
That was the answer in which our lecturer told us when we asked him about how should we present our report to him.
After 2 weeks of hard work, we finally came up with a very comprehensive PowerPoint slide show.
Only to be let down by the very same lecturer...
He said something like
- No no no... you shouldn't make it so long
- Can you cite it this way, instead of following the APA (American Psychological Association) format?
- Why do you keep reviewing the same guy's journal?
- Where's the proof?
This is supposed to be a trial run for all of us, before we actually present it to the class next week. He said he wanted to review on our work first.
And to add on to that, after our presentation to him, we asked him on how should we cover some of our weaknesses, like if the audiences were to asked questions about proving our literature review, and guess what he said?
"Aiyoh. No people will ask like that la. And if they do, just say don't you believe me ??!!".
Do you see any problem here?
I am so so annoyed with his attitude.
In addition, he told us that he stayed up all night to think about our lecture today. And he finally found his "Aha" moment at 2.30 in the morning. He said the lecture later today will be an interesting one.
And what happened during the lecture?
"Let's talk about our passion."
And all we did was telling each other our passion... for the entire 2 hour lecture !!!
Such interesting lecture.
I'm very tired now...

life isn't easy with a different culture lecturer....
he taught cross cultural this semester too...
yet he don't understand the meaning of cross cultural....
if he expect us to do something on what we prefer...
then make sure that he thinks that way till the end....
not when we were presenting to him and then he rejected us.....
for what he wants us to do....
do whatever we prefer too.....
please do make it clear....
what you want from the beginning...
do not waste our hard work.....
effort and time....
to prepare things for you to reject.....
we were the first group to show him our slides...
and also the first group to be rejected....
as well as the first to redo everything again....
so "fun".....
Hope he knows how "fun" is it to redo everything....
we had 65 slides and he wants us to redo it till 15 slides....
which means....2 slides for each of us....
is it possible?
yes it is possible...
but our slides will be so short...
and everyone will listen to us....
for the whole time...
which i guess will be bored to death...
haha....
need to show him the simplify slides on friday and presentation will be on next week...
hope everything will be fine..
as there are plenty of time before Rotaract 3rd Meeting....
we went DSA...
as usual....
and we meet Wai Oon and a few others A level Friends that had left HELP for quite sometimes.....so we chat for awhile...
played Magic...test out my new deck...which i'm still quite blur about it...
haha....
Rotaract Meeting is not that good this time...
out of 19 members...
only 10 attended....
most of them were busy with other clubs, assignments and so on....
discussed quite a number of stuff...
and this weekend we going 1u for bowling....fellowship...
and also community service in orphanage....
hope everything will be smooth that time....
hehe....
Then, we had "interesting" class activities....
followed by a quite boring class....
which my dear didn't attend...
lucky him...
hehe....
might be missing class for the last week...
so, i can't afford to miss more classes....
or i will not understand a thing for finals...which will be here in 3 weeks time...
huhu....
supposed to follow dear home and then mum fetch me after her treatment in Kepong...
but my dad didn't want to fetch her to Kepong...
so i decided to accompany her...
i took the train all the way back to Kajang....
Mum pick me up at Kajang KTM station...
with dad in the car.....
err....he is not supposed to be in the car i guess....
and he thought of sending me home....coz he say i'm tired...yes i am....
but he didn't sent me home...he just drove past home...
no idea what is in his mind...
i slept all the way to Kepong...
mum had her acupuncture treatment...
and then we had our dinner at a nearby shop....
had wan tan mee...
all kinds of variations...
prawn wantan, char siew wan tan., chicken feet and mushroom, dumplings, and lots more....
as for the mee...there are....curry, dry, soup and others....
it's quite cheap.....rm23...
for a bowl of 6 piece dumplings, a dry wan tan mee with prawn wan tan, a bowl of curry wan tan mee with lots of ingredients, a dry char siew wan tan me, a soup char siew wan tan mee....2 cups of hot barley....
yum yum....will get back to there for more food....
haha....
after that, we went Connaught Pasar Malam....
although economy not good...
the pasar malam still packed will lots of people.....
business is as usual....
lots of food, clothes, accessories, vegetables, house appliances, cd and vcd, shoes, pets....and lots more.....anything you can think of.....i think there have it...haha....
went home quite late...
sleep and rest...
