This Is Our Story

It's 10th of August again, and this marks our 4th year together. Of course, 4 years together does not only mean 4 years of happiness... It comes with sadness, conflicts, and many more problems. But one thing is for sure. If we are able to hit 4 years, much with all those negative emotions etc etc, it means that we are holding on just fine ><




Anyways, we went to Genting (yes, again!) for 2 days, spent some time there enjoying the cool breeze and wind, walking around, catch a midnight movie, which we rarely get a chance to do so while in KL because me and my dear live in 2 opposite end of the town lol. Went after class on Monday, hence reached at around 4pm. Twas late already... not much time to play outdoor so we just walked around, then watch movie. Watched G.I. Joe... yea... it was way better than i had expected it to be. Haha.

Anyways, Happy Anniversary dear. love you ><

I.Am.Back.

I know... i may have said this several times. But it was holidays for the pass few weeks.. hence was lazying around doing nothing but enjoying life to the fullest.

Now that the business classes has resumed, me and my dear will need to go for boring exciting business classes. you see... we are minoring in marketing, with psychology as our major. hence, marketing is not as easy as it seems.

Classes were boring and on top of that, long hours. we have like, 4 and a half hour of class on wednesday, that's from 2pm till 6.30pm!!! and yes, its the same class for that long. Insane... Worst still, the lecturer is so lazy, that she just show us the tutorial questions in MSWord format, project it on the screen, and then ask us to answer it. Imagine needing to strain our eyes at a font sized 12 times new roman style... torture... worst still, she then asked us to swap our papers with our friends, and our friends can mark it for us. speachless..



Most of my friends have graduated and moved on.. wonder how are they now ...

Till then...

Had been staying at home most of the days now in the week. Due to the holidays given by our generous college.

However, my dear's thesis extension has been rejected, hence she will need to complete it by the middle of next moth and prepare herself for the thesis defense. As for me, i did not take thesis this semester due to the limited availability of the number of participants for me this semester.

I know.. Harry Potter is officially out today, and me and my dear have yet to watch it yet. Why? Because my dear said we should watch it next week instead so that we will not have to pay the extra dollars and que up for 1 hour plus plus just to watch it today. I've finished the book though (again). Haha.

Sunday was M10's pre-release. It was held at several places, but me and my dear decided to join the one in Manawerx, mainly to support our best friend Michael Toh, who is the tournament organizer there.

My dear wanted to play in the pre-release as one of her birthday present, so i signed her up for 2 sessions, while i myself did not play any. However, when we reached the place at around 9.45am, Mike was asking me whether i wanna join or not, and so i supported him and joined 1 session.

My dear went 2-2 in both sessions, winning 2 and losing 2. It was a good achievement for her, as the format was slightly harder than the one that i have practiced with her before. Additional prizes that we got was that my dear actually won the lucky draw, which was a long long poster.... while i got myself a t-shirt as a lucky draw price.

Remember the last few post about me planning some event? Well, it's for today!

Went to MidValley today to celebrate my dear's 22nd. Activity for the day? We went monster hunting at MidValley.

After that, we went to watch Ice Age 3. Not as funny as i have expected.

Went to eat Korean food after that with Mike. Was nice.

Re reading Harry potter and half blood prince, before the movie is released. Would want to refresh my memory on the story, since the official movie often skip alot of scenes and made it less interesting. Take for example Harry Potter 1, and 2, and 3... Not just Harry Potter movies, but also other movies like Da Vinci's Code. It tried to cramp all 593 pages of fictional stories into a 2 hour movie. No good.

Anyway, am going to play some online game with my dear now.

Has anyone tried to organize a few events before? Was it an easy task?

Although i have organized many events before, up till state and national levels (particularly in chess, during secondary school years... great time ><), but none of it was as frustrating as the one i am working on now.

It has to be big ...

It has to be great ...

It has to be marvelous ...

It has to be boring-less ...

... and the list goes on



What event is that, you may ask.

Well.. i will definitely post it up here when the day comes...

In the mean time, shall get back to sleep planning the event.

It has been a long time since I updated this blog. Hence, hope to revive it again starting today.

Some updates on what happened in the past few months of absence:

• Finished our Marketing assignment, although we failed to hit the RM3000 target that our lecturer gave us.
• Finished out Marketing final examination, although I (almost all of us) did not manage to finish answering all of the questions. It was an "All Essay" examination, and it is marketing. There is no end to marketing ...
  
• Been to 2 National Qualifiers for magic and both i failed when i got to Top-8. Only Top-4 is invited to Nationals this year, and both of the event i was only 1 step behind. Disappointed.
• Watched Transformers 2. It was better than we thought.
• Helped my dear to complete her thesis research. Yet, still not enough participants.
• My god-sister got married last last week. Congrats to her. Couldn't believe time had passed by so quickly.
